Corporate Portraits and LinkedIn Headshots
Your profile photo is a first impression. A professional headshot builds trust and sets you apart.

Your profile photo is often the first impression someone gets of you. A professional headshot builds trust, looks serious and sets you apart from a phone selfie.
Why a professional headshot
On LinkedIn, a company website or a proposal, first impressions count. A quality portrait looks trustworthy and shows you take your work seriously.
People form an opinion about a stranger within seconds, and a photo is the first thing they notice. A blurry phone shot, harsh lighting or a random kitchen background sends the opposite message. A corporate headshot signals that you take yourself, and the people you do business with, seriously.

How to prepare
Go for a simple, clean outfit in muted colours. Keep your hair and make-up natural. A relaxed, friendly expression works best, and we'll help you find it.
Avoid bold patterns, thin stripes or logos on clothing, they distract on camera and date quickly. A solid coloured shirt, blouse or blazer in a darker or mid tone works best and pairs well with different backgrounds. If you're unsure, bring two or three outfits to the shoot and we'll choose together which one looks best on camera.
Light, background and expression
The quality of light decides whether a portrait feels pleasant or harsh. In the studio we use soft, diffused light that smooths out shadows under the eyes and avoids sharp contrast on the face. We choose a plain background, darker or lighter depending on the outfit, so the face stays the focus and nothing distracts from it.
Expression matters just as much as technical settings. A stiff, uncertain look feels distant, an exaggerated smile feels forced. We aim for a middle ground: a slight smile in the eyes, relaxed shoulders and a direct look into the lens. That combination is what makes people feel trust from the very first glance.
A consistent style for the whole team
When the whole team has portraits in the same style, the company looks professional and cohesive. We come to you and photograph everyone in a single day.
Consistency doesn't mean everyone looks the same, it means the same background, similar cropping and matching light across the whole team. That's what makes a team page or a company's LinkedIn profile feel like one coherent set, even with dozens of people. We can also add new portraits later, one at a time, using the same setup so they fit right in.
Not just for LinkedIn
Besides a classic headshot, we can shoot more casual frames for an about section, a website or print. One shoot, many uses.
The same portraits work for print materials, business cards, client presentations or an email signature. Instead of booking a new shoot for every occasion, one session gives you photos you can use for years.
A good corporate portrait
- A clean background or office setting
- A simple outfit in muted colours
- A natural, friendly expression
- A current photo, not one from years ago
We recommend refreshing your portrait whenever your look changes noticeably, for example a different haircut, or roughly every two to three years. An outdated photo can be confusing for colleagues and clients when they meet you in person.
