About Us
Our story
We're three young creatives full of energy and passion for detail. Banská Bystrica is our home, but for a great project we won't hesitate to travel anywhere in Slovakia, or beyond.
Although we're only opening the studio now, we've been photographing and creating for over six years. We've worked together as a team for almost two years, and we've worked hard the whole way to be able to offer you the quality we stand behind, one hundred percent.
Whether it's a photo or a video, we make sure the result is exactly as you imagined it. Fast, professional and with an eye for detail.
Andrej officially joined D'POSE in 2026, but he's been with us for quite a while. He started out as a helping hand who never missed the building of our sets. He also lent a hand with the corset for the Silver shoot and with a heap of other little details that make the final atmosphere. After a lot of persuading, he finally said yes and became an official part of the team.
More than just photos and videos
We are a creative space where ideas turn into visuals and emotions become stories you can see and feel.
For us, it's never just about photos or videos. And it's never only about equipment, lights, or perfect angles. It's about the feeling. That moment when someone in front of the camera stops overthinking and simply becomes themselves.
We believe everyone carries something unique within them. An energy, a spark, a story worth showing to the world. Our ambition is to capture that authenticity and shape it into visuals with depth, atmosphere, and character. We want to show reality, but not an ordinary one. A reality full of emotion, mood, and presence you can feel even through a screen.
Creating is more than work for us. It's a process full of music in the background, spontaneous ideas, laughter between shots, and unexpected moments that can't be planned. And that's exactly what makes them real. We love the transformation that happens during every shoot. When uncertainty turns into confidence, when a simple space becomes a scene, and when a casual meeting becomes an experience.
Every project is a shared journey where something new is born. Something shaped by the energy we create together. We don't just want to produce content. We want to create moments you'll return to. We want you to not only see yourself in our work, but to feel yourself in it.
We love experimenting, searching for new perspectives, playing with light, detail, and mood. And truly enjoying the whole process. Because when we enjoy creating, it shows in the final result.
D'POSE STUDIO is our combination of passion, creativity, and the joy of capturing every story you let us tell.

How long have you been taking photos?
I've been drawn to photography since childhood, even if those early shots weren't exactly art. My parents had an old Canon, and most of the photos I look back on today were taken by me, including my own self-portraits. The real turning point came when my parents got me my first camera for my eighteenth or nineteenth birthday. That's when my photography journey really began.
How old are you?
I'm 23.
Where do you shoot?
I'm mainly based in Banská Bystrica, but I've also shot in Bratislava, Prague, the Tatras and Poprad, all over Slovakia as well as abroad, for example in Italy or Austria.
What are your plans for the future?
I want to keep developing, get D'POSE STUDIO fully off the ground, get featured in more magazines, and above all keep working on myself.
How did you get into photography?
My parents sparked my love of photography. From a young age we had a camera and phones with cameras at home, so I had the chance to experiment and explore. When they bought me my first camera, something clicked, and I told myself I wanted to take it seriously.
What do you enjoy most about photography?
What I enjoy most is the creative side: thinking through the style, outfits, make-up, light and the story that runs through the whole shoot. I'm also fascinated by people's reactions; that moment when I see they're thrilled with the photos is the best reward there is.
What's your inspiration?
I'm inspired by other artists, models, drag queens and photographers, but also by music. All it takes is hearing a song and I already have an idea for a shoot. My main sources are Pinterest, TikTok and Instagram.
What's your thought process when planning a shoot?
That's hard to sum up briefly, I'd love to go into it in more detail in a magazine sometime.
Where and how did you learn to shoot?
Like a lot of people without formal photography training: through YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and mostly through practice. I'm still trying new settings and discovering new things.
What's your take on Nikon and other brands?
I've got nothing against Canon, Sony or Fujifilm. But since my first camera was a Nikon, I've stayed loyal to it.
What have you tried shooting that didn't catch on with people?
A few years ago I started leaning more into analog photography. I love it, and I already have a small collection of analog cameras at home. I tried making videos about it, but people weren't all that interested. Maybe I'll come back to it someday.
What have you achieved so far?
Dominika and I have already been featured in several magazines, and our portfolio keeps growing. I'm endlessly grateful for every success. To me, success is also a bigger reach on Instagram or a positive response from people. It might not seem like much to some, but these small things mean a great deal to me.
We're preparing an interview with Dominika, coming soon.
