Where do you shoot?
At your chosen location or in our studio in Banská Bystrica. For the right project, we'll travel anywhere in Slovakia or abroad.
What types of photography do you offer?
Portraits, weddings and celebrations, family and couple sessions, product, corporate and event photography, as well as fine art. Alongside photography, we also produce video.
Do you shoot video too?
Yes, video is a regular part of our work, from short reels to more complete edits.
How does a session work?
First, we consult together and agree on a date and location (at your place or in our studio). Then we shoot, select and retouch the best shots, and deliver them to you online.
When will I get my finished photos?
It depends on the scope of the session; we always agree on an exact date in advance.
How many photos will I receive?
According to the agreed scope. We always deliver retouched shots in high resolution.
How much does a session cost?
The price depends on the type and scope of the session. Write to us and we'll prepare a tailor-made offer for you.
How do I book a date?
Write to us via the contact form or at dpose.studio@gmail.com, and we'll work out the details.
How should I prepare, and what should I wear?
We'll advise you in advance based on the style of the session. What works best is whatever makes you feel natural.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, a photo session makes a beautiful gift. Find out more on our Gift Vouchers page.
Do you shoot on weekends and evenings?
Yes, we're happy to adapt. In good light we also shoot early in the morning or before sunset.
What if the weather is bad on the day?
We either move the date or shoot in the studio. We always have a backup plan so you don't miss out.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes, gently. We refine light, colours and details, but we don't turn people into someone else.
Can I bring my pet to the shoot?
Pets are welcome, just let us know in advance so we can plan for it.
Can I use the photos on social media?
Yes, the finished photos are yours for personal use. For commercial use we agree on it in advance.
Can a date be moved or cancelled?
A date can be moved by arrangement. We'll tell you the exact terms when you book.

A few tips to help you get the most out of your session.
Leaving preparation until the last minute
Prepare your outfit, hairstyle and details the day before, calmly and without stress.
Bold patterns and logos on clothing
Go for solid-coloured, timeless pieces; your photos will still look great years from now.
A new hairstyle or make-up right before the shoot
Try them out beforehand, so the result doesn't surprise you in front of the camera.
Not enough sleep before the session
Get a good night's sleep. Tired eyes and skin are hard to hide in photos.
Nerves and stiff poses
Don't worry about it. We work in a relaxed way, guide you along, and the right pose will come naturally.
Unspoken expectations
Send us your inspiration in advance (Pinterest, examples), as it saves time and helps us nail your style.
Too many onlookers during the shoot
Fewer spectators = a more relaxed atmosphere and more natural shots.
